Practical support when you need it

Boxes of diapers, baby supplies, and pregnancy support items ready for families

Our material assistance program provides essential items and community referrals to help you through your pregnancy and beyond. Everything we offer is free, there are no income requirements, and we do not ask questions about your situation. We carry diapers, wipes, baby clothing, bottles, blankets, and other essentials. Inventory changes regularly based on donations, so what we have available may vary from visit to visit. In addition to physical items, we can connect you with community programs for food assistance, housing support, healthcare enrollment, and parenting classes. You do not have to be a current patient to receive material assistance. Just stop by during our open hours or call ahead.

Items and resources available

  • Baby clothing (newborn through toddler sizes)
  • Bottles, blankets, and other essentials
  • Car seats and cribs (when available through donations)
  • Referrals to WIC, MassHealth, and housing assistance programs
  • Connection to local parenting classes and support groups

How it works

Visit any of our four Massachusetts locations during open hours or schedule an appointment. A patient advocate will sit down with you to understand your needs and connect you with the right resources. There is no application form and no income verification. Larger items like car seats and cribs are distributed as they become available through community donations.

Who qualifies

Our material assistance program is available to anyone who is pregnant, recently gave birth, or is parenting a young child. There are no income requirements, no insurance requirements, and no citizenship or residency requirements. If you need help, you qualify.

Community resources and referrals

Beyond the items we provide directly, our team can connect you with government and community programs that offer additional support. These include WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), which provides supplemental nutrition and formula; MassHealth, which covers prenatal care, delivery, and pediatric visits; housing assistance programs; local food banks and meal programs; and parenting classes and support groups. We will help you navigate the enrollment process and can assist with paperwork.

Ongoing support

Our material assistance is not a one-time visit. You are welcome to return as your needs change throughout your pregnancy and as your child grows. We stock items for newborns through toddler sizes and regularly receive new donations from the community.
